Karine Ponties is initiating during two seasons (in collaboration with the Théâtre de la Vie in Brussels), an intimate exploratory work to research the approach to and relationship with the public through a variety of short, hybrid solos wherein dance is not necessarily central.

We are never ourselves. We do not resemble ourselves, or know ourselves. We give life to ourselves, born of our own hand. We are a period of one life, a moment. We disappear in another form, buried, refolded, moulded, crushed.
We are born as golem, an unformed sludge of languages, veins, senses and blood. A varying, mutating edifice with at its heart, whether in turmoil, resistance, resignation and joy, there is again and again the presage of self.
