Martina Martinez Barjacoba is a dancer and choreographer of Spanish origin. A sportswoman since childhood (Federación Española de gymnasia rítmica), she trained as a dancer at the Professional Dance Conservatory of La Coruña and as an actress at ESAD, the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Galicia. Years later she deepened her studies in theatre and dance at the Paolo Grassi in Milan. As a performer she has collaborated with choreographers and directors such as Tino Seghal (UK), Frank Willems (De), Eric Joris – Crew (Be), Quan Bui Ngoc (Be), Davis Freeman (Be), Salia Sanou (Fr), Kyunga-Ryu (Kr/Be), Olivier Py (Fr) or La Fura dels Baus (Sp). She currently collaborates with the Treppenwitz Collective in Switzerland and Karine Ponties/ Cie Dame de Pic.
